Award winning nail technician Michele Burke found her love for nails with a course in Acrylic enhancements at Creative Academy over 12 years ago. Michele went on to graduate from Senior College Dun Laoghaire in Beauty Therapy and Spa Therapy. In 2011 Michele became a CND Shellac Ambassador and continued her journey in education, earning a place as an educator for Hand and Nail Harmony in 2013 and most recently with Exposed spray tan in 2014. Michele represents these brands educating for Creative Academy, the official distributor and she covers Wicklow, Wexford and Carlow.
Michele says “ Working as a nail technician is an exciting and interesting experience. Every day is different.” Michele has had the opportunity to work at fabulous events such as Off The Rails, The Professional Beauty Show, The Irish Beauty Show and The L’Oreal Colour Trophy Awards. She was recommended by Image Magazine for her Immaculate Manicures and has been spotted on RTE’S ‘An Seoige’ afternoon show working on Michelle Heaton’s nails.
Michele’s growing celebrity client list includes Pippa O Connor, Rosanna Davison, The Saturday’s Una Foden, Holly Carpenter, Aoife Walsh, Vogue Williams, Danielle Lloyd, Michelle More (The Baroness Mone of Mayfair OBE), actress Charlene McKenna, fashion designer Emma Manley, singer Roisin O, RTE’s Sinead Kennedy and Audrey McGrath (to name a few!). Samantha Mumba also rocked Michele Burke Nails for the Final of The Hit. Michele Burke Nails were also worn by Aoibhinn McGinnity for her character Trish in RTE’s hit show LOVE/HATE.
A massive highlight of Michele’s career to date was opening her first salon Michele Burke Nails, located on the Main Street of Dundrum Village.
